Finally saw ST: Into Darkness. The first half was awesome - I was quite happy and able to ignore plot holes, etc. Then they had the nerve to touch the radiation/engine room scene and not have the decency to even be sincere about it......

It suddenly hit me today that the Star Trek movie, while including a lot of tiny key details for Trekkies, also left some big ones. Namely - Sarek & Amanda's bonding. When Amanda died, Sarek should have instantly dropped to his knees out of the pain of the severance of their bonding, or the other Vulcans instantly gathering around him in mental ( Read more... )

I finally got to see this last night & was absolutely blown away. It was incredible. According to Hubby, I pretty much squeeled with glee throughout the entire movie & he's probably right.
